Hi,
What is the difference between NX assembly exploded views and NX arrangements?........

Thank you,

Solution
Exploded Views is for ISO assembly type drawings, This needs to be done at the drawing level.

Arrangements are for showing different assembly orientations or different options to an assembly.
For example, imagine an air cylinder. In one arrangement, the cylinder is retracted, and in the other arrangement, the air cylinder is extended.

We prefer to use arrangements a lot, especially for exploded views.

We have many arrangements in our assemblies so this method works well for us. For what it is worth.

It looks like explosion does whatever arrangements do, I can't see any major difference.
So, I could use explosion, exclusive, with the same result.

Thank you, all.

Arrangements can be used for exploded views but can do some more.
Exploded views only does what the name states. It's an exploded depiction of an assembly , preferrably on a drawing.
Arrangements can suppress components, have arrangement specific positions and arrangement specific assembly constraints.
Also , arrangements can refer to other arrangements top down in assembly structures.
i.e define arrangement x any y in some sub assembly, then in a higher level assembly create another arrangement that swaps x to y in the lower.
pretty powerful but can be a little abstract if the structure is large.
