NX11 Assembly Constraints

Greetings:

If you want a component such as a bolt to stay with a hole, is the concentric constraint the one to use. For example, if I have a bolt in an item, and I move the item anywhere, will the bolt stay with the hole and the right height and everything with concentric?

For the bolt to be move with the item.
it should be fully constraint.

Concentrically constrained bolt still has 2 degrees of freedom - one rotational and one translational, you may check it by running the "Show degrees of freedom" command (use command finder to locate it) and selecting the part of interest, in this case, a bolt. You should define at least 1 additional Touch / Distance(=0) constraint to this bolt, while, as fairly remarked by Ehaviv, good habit is to constrain all degrees of freedom, except those which are intended for some purposes. This ensures the predictable behavior of the assembly.

A concentric constraint will lock all but one rotational degree of freedom (rotation about the bolt axis). This is usually sufficient for constraining bolts. Align and lock is useful if you want it to be fully constrained.
