NX11 - Template File path

I am just helping someone figure this out and it is not my area of expertise.

Right now we have the template files in the Crive and if we need to add a new template file for a new customers standards, we need to add it to every person's computer.

Is it possible to direct NX to a shared drive to keep the template files so we only need to place it in one folder and everyone's computer will pull the templates from that folder? Where do you change the path?

Yes. I'd suggest looking into the NXcustom setup, more info on that is available on the Siemens community forum.

Most definitely. You can put the files on a shared drive and then run the configuration program to customize where the files are installed. This will also need to be done on each workstation, unless you use a server-hosted installation of NX.
Putting everything on a server eases upgrades and configuration.
