NX1872 Wont Import Part File with Image?

We recently updated from NX11 to NX1872

I have a button that imports a file and just places it at the zero point of the drawing in drafting. On that .PRT file that is imported, is an image.

I have never had anyone complain in the past but now it seems that if that file is imported, all drafting lines will appear but the image will not. It just imports the file but seems to now allow the image to come with it.

Is there a setting or something to fix this?

Does the image show up in the "images" folder?
Is the image layer turned on?

I wonder if it has to do with what view is work and active.
Check if what should be in the drawing space is actually in the model space.

The image is a jpeg on the drafting sheet. When we import the part file that has the drafting sheet which includes the border, Title Block and that image, everything imports but the image.

I have found a cheap work around. I placed the JPEG in a common place and created a button to insert the image and place it in the right position. Now they have to import the sheet without the image, and then insert the image.

maybe you need look to create drafting templates with title blocks and images and avoid to import a file for each drawing
