Hi, I just got a new videocard (ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256M) to replace the old one (TNT2 Vanta 16M). After I installed the videocard and the driver, I couldn't launch either NX2 or NX3 that're working on the computer before. I tried to reinstall NX3 again but it still not working.

Could anybody tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks very much.

The Radeon cards are not certified for NX.

Thanks Ben.

Where can I find the list of the certified videocards for NX2/NX3? It seems I need to replace the card with another one and I don't want to find it not certified again only after I install the card.

Are nVidia GeForce series supported cards?

One thing I am not sure is: NX2 and NX3 support videocards coming into the market before and after NX2/NX3's release, right?

Thanks.

Thanks Chris. I just had a quick look at the list. For nVidia cards, it doesn't seem to have the newer ones (as far as desktop PC is concerned) and the card I used (TNT2 Vanta) is not in the list. Probably I can just buy another card and see for myself.

Thanks.

It turns out to be the driver problem. It's a Gigabyte videocard and I used the driver downloaded from Gigabyte's website.

Now I downloaded the driver from ATI website and it works now.

Thanks for helping me out.

The Quadro series cards from Nvidia are CAD level cards.
