When using Checked GD&T, and creating tolerance features with the Tolerance Feature Editor, it doesn't seem possible to modify the Style of the annotation instances such that the leader exits to the right, rather than the left.

The way I've been trying to modify the instances is by right clicking the instance>Style>Line/Arrow tab>Leader from Right.

Clicking on this drop down doesn't do anything.

Is this behavior part of a standard, or is there a way to get the leaders to come from the right that I am not seeing?

In general it would be so nice to have a better ability to work with associative PMI and Checked GD&T, both in the 3D model as well as in drafting.

PMI and GD&T in the model is useful, and could be much better leveraged with better editing/manipulation tools.

Fact is, a lot of workflows still require 2D prints, and making the inheriting process smoother would cut down on klooges necesary to get a decent looking 2D print.

As a corrolary, what is a recommended workflow to allow export of a 3D "dumb" model with 3D PMI and GD&T attached?
