Any advice please
Using Nx6
I need to produce toolpath with slowdown in corners in a angled pocket with corner and fillet rads.
Using cavity mill I can get it to reduce when going around a corner but it doesnt cut the geometry as Id like (constant stepdown)I need to use with Scallop controlling stepover.
The prefered method is Contour Area with the Area Milling Drive method, this achieves the required cutting action.
BUT, although it gives the same options within Cutting Parameters - Corners it doesnt seem to have any effect on the feed rates. Am I missing something?
Ive attached model file if anyone can help.

Thanks
Den

It is available in 7.5 but I am not sure about 6.

In 7.5 it can be set in cutting parameters, corners. The 3 options under the corners tab are: Path Shape in Corner (nothing to set for this one, perhaps it is dependent on other settings), Feed Adjustment on Arcs and the last one is Feed Slowdown in Corners.

I would look there. You may need to call GTAC and ask them or Perhaps Mark Rief could chime in...

Thanks for reply,

The same 3 options are available in NX6 but no matter what I enter into the form it doesnt make any differance to the feed output.
It does work with cavity mill though
