Going a while back (NX2 or 4), there was a user abort short cut... in my hand written notes I have it as Ctrl + Shift + L (who knows if this was custom or not) Does this still exist? Did it ever exist??
If it does, whats the short cut?

Here's why I wanted it, placing a view of a large assy... wheel just keeps on turning....no stop button. I don't want to close and lose my work, I just want to do a user abort on the current operation

Thanks in advanced!

Yes, at one time Ctrl+Shift+L was the way to halt a UG/NX operation, but even then it was only effective when it was actually SAFE to halt an operation, which is not always the case.

Now days we've implemented a more obvious way to do this same thing and that's when you see, generally in the lower left-corner of your screen, a small 'Work in Progress' message with a 'Stop' button on it.

If you see this 'Work in Progress' message, than it's safe to halt the current operation. If you do NOT see anything like this, then either it's NOT safe or it's impossible to halt the current operation.
