Hi,

I'd like to convert Pipe Chart units from inch to mm (please, open the NX attached file).
I did change units (inch to mm)in Analysis and Assign Solid Density (in Modeling environment), but the new Pipe Bend Chart keep showing inch, like the one previously created and placed on this drawing.
Do you have any ideea how could I convert this file from inch to mm?

Hm, a it difficult to follow you here.
I opened the part. It contains both a drawing and a model in the same file.
On the drawing there is something that looks like a table but which is a group of lines and notes.
The notes are not associated to anything. only plain text. -Seems like something that a customer specific program might have produced. the number "95.3" in the upper left box is just the three digits 95.3, and since its not associated / or a measurement it doesn't have the "intelligence" such that it can be converted from Inch to mm or opposite. The part is an Inch part but converting the part will not convert the 95.3 since there is nothing that tells NX that "this is a dimension, please consider these values "inch" and convert to "mm".

If you want to convert the file, you need to run the UG_Convert_part.exe utility found in the install directory. ( similar to C:\siemens\NX7.5\UGII)

Open a NX -command prompt, Start - all programs - NX7.5 (?)-nx tools - command prompt
change directory to where your files reside, then type "ug_convert_part" and press enter, the utility will then report that necessary options you need/ can set.

Maybe, after converting the file, your special program will report in mm instead of Inch.?

Regards,
Tomas
