NX9 - Drag and drop part loading not working

Why doesn't the drag and drop function work for opening a part or assembly in NX9?
I have the "Enable Drag and Drop Reorder" checked in Customer Defaults -> Part Navigator. Is there any other Drag and Drop function I should have checked?

IN what environment are you trying this? Standalone or Managed?

Same problem here. It was working a week or 2 ago. The symbol for the cursor changes to the red circle with a line through it indicating that it will NOT work. What gives? The Windows 7 environment? No changes to my NX profile. STANDALONE ENVIRONMENT. This feature does not work in TeamCenter.

standalone environment ... all I do is update what I get, no personal changes in MP though

Do you want to open the part or add as a component?
Are there NO parts open in the session?
Does it work if you double click the .prt file instead of drag and drop?
