Object Snap Pop-Up

I would like to know if anyone can assist in AutoCad 2002 with programming a Microsoft Intellimouse scroll wheel to bring up the Osnap Pop-Up to select a pick point. I was able to use this function with different mouse in AutoCad 15. I have assumed it was a config.issue in AutoCad. Am I wrong? Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
