Opening JT files from Team Center in CATIA

Hello everyone,

When I have CATIA open I can import JT files all day long in Native CATIA.
But if I am pulling assemblies that have JT Files from Teamcenter in to CATIA the JT files will not show.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Windows 7
CATIA V5 R22, SP5, HF 24
Team Center 9

JT is a Siemen's NX file type. I was not aware that it can be opened natively in CATIA.

its depends on what you are using for conversion.
In my company we are using a customized application for converting JT into CATIA/CGR and it is working well in both case (part and assembly).

We have a JT translator and I can put JT files in Catia all day long natively. It only errors when I pull the JT files from Team Center.
I don't get it. lol

As far as i know you cannot open the jt file directly in CATIA.
