Opinion on Brendan Casey

General opinion on this guy? I get his emails with basic tips and tricks which have been useful as a relative newbie to hydraulics.

His book for sale is forced down any readers throat which automatically rings alarm bells. His website, whilst it contains a little bit of useful information is hideous and looks like so many scam sites out there.

Anyone else got an opinion on him?

Hello, I myself have a very positive opinion on this guy. I've worked for a short period of time in the hydraulics field and I used to read his articles every now and then.

I would say that his web contains a lot of good info.
You can find his articles on other sources too.

I have not met him in person, but he did a "report" on an issue I personnally worked on at a previous employer. As I remember the crisis we solved the issue inhouse but he takes credit, and I don't even know how he was involved!? I also find his writing style to be a little condesending. ISZ

His writing is good for new comers and he explains basic hydraulic theory in such a way, anyone could understand him.
