This seems to be an extremely complicated thing to do for some reason. I had to consult the help file but I'm still having dificulty. What's best procedure for dimensioning like this?

to further elaborate:

1. Doesn't dog leg very well automatically
2. Manually moving them is quite awkward (don't think
I can box select all of the dimension I want to move.
3. Seems to add more than one dimension for the same
line/hole.

Also, doesn't seem to allow me to add a dimension if I've missed one.

how about trying this file to see if it is set up a bit different.....let me know if this is better. This is my start part. I use ordinate dimensioning all the time. To add a dimension simply click your original ordinate set again (the same one) and add your dimesion. I can send a "movie" if you need it.

JChurch77 - that works a charm. What setting are you using to do that? Also, is there a way of adding a dimension if you've missed one?
