Why does a overhead line with same specs of underground cable have a higher voltage drop than the underground
cable?

Is it because of the more external factors that affects overhead lines?

The over head line has a lower Xc, which tends to increase the voltage.
That's probally not the only reason, but that's part of it.

Check the difference in the inductance of the overhead circuit versus the underground.
