Paint raw-material - titanium dioxide and resin

I understand paint is made using titanium dioxide and resin. This is with regard to North America: Which companies supply TiO2? Also, what kind of resin is used and who supplies this?

There are a huge number of resins which can be used in paints. What substrate do you want to protect from what environmental or process conditions???

Coating need a lot of raw material to made. TiO2 just is general pigment in coating. Base on function, there are a lot of type resin be used in coating. eg. epoxy, polyester, PU, acrylic, alkyd etc. so what's your purpose for the coating? you want to painting where for what kind of substrate?

For TiO2, you can buy from Dupont, Kronos, etc
