Parametric Assembly

I am working on a Top Down design in which I have a skeleton at the top level. Then there are individual sub - assemblies which refer certain elements from the top level and also have a skeleton model with their own unique elements restricted to that sub - assembly.

I am having a problem defining the locations and modifying a few parts individually in one of the sub - assemblies. Please refer the attachment for further details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why you don't propagate the tubes with a pattern? Using the pattern that you have used in the skeleton part?
