[PATRAN] Help with Laminate Modeler 1

Hello,
I am trying to get myself familiarize with Patran Laminate Modeler. Was able to create layups for simple flat surfaces. Now, attempting a layup which is a little bit more complex.

Trying to model a T-Clip with laminate layup like below

So, I was able to create Ply coverage area for one side of horizontal leg (right from view point) & vertical leg successfully as shown below.

But, when I try to create another ply with coverage area of left horizontal leg as well as vertical web/leg, only the horizontal leg is being accepted by Patran as shown below

I am not getting any error message or anything. If anyone here is experienced with working with Laminate Modeler tool, please help in figuring out what I am doing wrong. I haven't even tried defining plies for the both (or entire) horizontal leg surface...

Sorry for posting it here instead of Patran sub-thread. This thread receives a lot more eyeballs and hoping greater chances of receiving help.
