pause after each path manufacturing prefs NX8??

Version after version I have been looking for a setting or customer default to disable this function which stops the toolpath generation after each operation when you regen multiple operations. It seems like a file or session oriented choice.
I would like to always allow NX8 to regen all ops selected always. anyone have any answers?

Hey,

This is from NX 6, but I can't imagine why it would change.

It's a file oriented choice.

If you edit your template file you can effectively make it a global change for all future parts.

Choose "Preferences>Manufacturing". on the "operation" tab you can set some options.

Thanks Jaydenn! I appreciate your quick reply and taking time to attach the jpeg of it. However, that pref is the one ive been using for quite a long time and i was hoping there is a customer default that will disble that for good, or maybe plans to add that to NX in the future.

If you set pause in manufacturing preferences I believe that will be session specific. There is a customer default that will set new sessions for pausing on/off after generation but if your operation templates have pause turned off then you don't have to worry about it. Even if you have manufacturing preference for pause turned off, if your templates have it on you may still see pausing.

In your operation template files, edit each operation then go to options-edit display and turn off pause. Also, if you open old part files and the operations are pausing you can edit those the same way as well.
