I checked in my assembly. But i saw that, when i look at a drawing by "document information/view" (without checked-out), dimensions are different that i made. But when i check out the part and drawing, dimensions are recovering.
Amazing point is , pdf file's dimensions are correct(i am taking pdf files of all drawings automatically)and part file's dimensions are correct. And i can't see the previous revisions of this part. Maybe they erased.

I think when i use "document information" i see the previous revision of the drawing like last revision.

Did you have any problem like this.

Solidworks 2009 sp4.1
PDMworkgroup 2009 sp3.0

zirtapoz,
Yes, we too have seen the document information/view" (without checked-out), drawing view is different. We never looked at the dimensions. We just ignored it.
Now, about the previous revisions of parts. PDM does not erase anything unless you tell it too. Have your PDM administrator check in the "SolidWorks Workgroup PDM 2009 VaultAdmin" under Vault Settings for the line "Allow latest revision overwrite". Should be unchecked.
Next check "Working Copy", under "Revisions Scheme" to make sure there is not a character to distinguish the Working copy document. Working copy will not save history.

Standing,

Standing, you are right about working copy. I saw that the revision which i try to see is a working copy.

Our the other departments are using "solidworks explorer" and they must see the drawings for manufacturing.

Because of dimension error they have manufactured incorrect parts.

Now, how will i trust solidworks PDM.

Solidworks 2009 sp4.1
PDMworkgroup 2009 sp3.0

zirtapoz,
You can trust SolidWorks PDM\Workgroup as we have learned too.

We have Documentation control sign and date the released revision with the revision and version number in the note in PDM on the drawing not model. Then when someone wants the released drawing from the vault they look in History/Notes for the revision that is signed by Documentation control. Then they open that drawing as built.
