I have a 89' SWB toyota landcruiser 4x4 , just bought a 13BT ( 3.4 toyota direct turbo diesel engine )as a builder and plan to build and blueprint it ( possibly bore block to take bigger sleeves for more displacement ), will order custom lower compression "Arias" forged pistons for it @ around 16:1 compression. plan to build a custom water/air intercooler & run LPG injection .

question >>>> I am seeking boost to come in sooner and stay on boost until i change gears @ around 3500 rpm max , are twins the way to go and if so what ball bearing Garretts would be suitable ????

Is it possible to run a small supercharger for bottem end - mid power ( with a clutch that disengages at like 2500 rpm ) and then the 1 larger BB garret turbo( maybe GT30 series R ) to come onto boost before the super charger clutch disengages all the way thru to redline so to speak ????

( can supply Engine specific's )

1. Watch your compression ratio - too low and you won't detonate at all. I think that you're skirting the limit.

2. Why cut the supercharger out at all?
