Permanent Undercut Snap Fits

Lots of recent work is published on "tab" undercut snap fits, but I want a complete radial undercut design guide.

Is there a 'Tupperware lid' Snap Fit Design Guide around which can be used for non-removable (within limits) snap lid designs?

Bill Chow's book "Cost Reduction in Product Design", ISBN 0-442-21540-1 offers some guidance on this topic.

Practical engineering approach is to make your first estimate a minimum material one,
then "doctor" the mold as indicated by tests.
