I am studying for the Spring 2020 SE Exam and would like to know if anyone can recommend a book for pile cap design. Thanks.

If you're interested in a free publication, the National Highway Institute has a 3 volume set on pile design and construction. There is info on pile cap design. However, NHI is all based on AASHTO LRFD.

google FHWA-NHI-16-64, FHWA-NHI-16-009, & FHWA-NHI-16-010.

I have an older CRSI; it contains a lot of tabulated pile cap designs; very useful. I know a few people who took the SE and when they told me how much money they had to spend on reference books it turned my hair greyer.[hairpull]
