Straight seam?

As opposed to spiral wound?

I've had a good look through API 5L and can't find any such abbreviations.

I talk with designer, this is a straight seam.

Good - that one's sorted.

A bit odd as that's what you would normally expect...

I'm not sure I ever realised what the "L" stood for (L= Longitudinal, H = Helical or spiral)...
