Basically you can’t machine a thread on that pipe of that size, I suggest you look at using some kind of thread adaptor to get you to the G3/8” thread.

Are you planning on making millions of these?
If so then you can get tooling to upset and swage the ends to give you thicker ends (either larger of OD or smaller ID depending on the tooling).
If you only need a few then you will weld on adapter ends.
