Good morning, has anyone ever had to pipe jack under a circumstance where the pipe jacking pits are not located along the same axis? Do you see any concerns or any difficulties on performing pipe jacking under a scenario like this one where the pipe jacking will at a small angle? Your feedback is appreciated. thank you

I would think you'd just adjust the angle of the jacking pit, or at least the back wall (thrust surface) of the pit. Doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal to align the pit with the pipe and eliminate the potential issues of lateral thrust.

Thanks for feedback @BridgeSmith. I deleted the other post by the way.

you will need sufficient room on either side of the pipe for shoring, slab, tracks, and for worker access. and the backstop will need to be perpendicular to the jacks. the front wall will need to support the thrust ring, also perpendicular to your jacks. other than that, your pit can be any shape you want.
