We have recently purchased over 100 heads produced to DIN 28011 for which the tolerance band for the diameters is + / - 1.6mm, the tolerance band for the overall diameter being 3.2mm. The out of roundness tolerance is 1 Percent. We wish to butt weld tube onto the heads using a centrator. The thickness of the material is 2mm so as you can see there could be a problem with the endcaps overlapping the tube or pipe. Does anyone know or can they suggest a pipe standard which would be suitable to use in accordance with the above standard. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

The sizes are as follows 168 OD, 219 OD & 273 OD.
