I am looking for design references for post tensioned concrete tank design. The application is similar to wastewater exposure. If you have any suggestions, please post them.

AWWA D110 gives the code requirements. But there's a lot more to designing these than a code reference. We (and everyone else) usually specify them and leave the design to the supplier. Is there a reason you want to design one yourself?

Who are some suppliers you are familiar with?

In this case, I have a detailed design from a company in Germany but the design needs to be checked against US codes for local loads and permitting.

Do you know of any other references for wastewater applications?

Natgun ( and DYK ( are major players in the Southwest US.
Crom ( the Southeast manufacturer.
Any of their technical services departments are likely to be helpful. As far as wastewater guidelines, I think they just use the AWWA D110, even though it's more potable oriented.

You might also want to consult ACI 350 Environmental Structures: Code Requirements. They have section on prestressed.
