Hello all,

Can you please list all prerequisites topics needed to learn, before starting to learn CFD along with learning resources.

Seems to me you should just start the CFD topic and figure what you need along the way, rather than spending time learning a couple classes of material, of which, less than 10% will actually be needed for CFD.

Do you have a good heat transfer background? If not that is a good starting point

Thank you Rstuff !, for useful link.
I tried this method. But I ended up getting more confused, due to the depth of mathematics and physics required for CFD. I am just wandering here and there for answers. It has became very difficult for me to stay focused. I might be doing something wrong. Would you please guide me with this regard.

Thank you hendersdc !
I know beginning level heat transfer, but not the level required for CFD. Would you please suggest any good resource for heat transfer. Also heat transfer and transport phenomenon are the same topics or different?
