Hi everyone.

Are there any standards or books about pressure gauge Bourdon tubes and movements which explains criteria such as general design, dimensions, material, manufacturing procedure, heat treatments, etc.? If not, can anyone answer the following questions for me?

* Is the mechanism and dimension of movements standardized or are they manufacturer-specific?
* Are there different types of movement or do they use a single type of movement for all pressure ranges and dial sizes? If they are different, what parameters does it depend on?
* Do Bourdon tube dimensions depend on pressure range only or on dial size too? Where can I find these dimensions?
* Any tips, references, etc. on manufacturing procedure of Bourdon tubes will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

[li]EN 837-2 : Pressure gauges. Selection and installation recommendations for pressure gauges.[/li]
