Pressure loss through electric heater

sir,

I am trying to calculate pressure loss through rectangular vertical electric heater. air is flowing through heater is 1000 SCFM and temerature increase is from 80 F to 1600

if any one have any formula to calculate pressure drop in this condition. please help me....

You can try posting in the 'HVAC/R Enginnering' forum
 
just a plain ol pressure drop calculation will work. Just break the exchanger up into small pieces with an average temperature of each section to get velocity in that section and from velocity you get pressure drop.
 
can one give me formula for that or can you tell me where i can find ..
