Price for FEMAP API tool.

Hello everyone, I need advice.
I got a job offer to create VBA tools (scripts and add-ons) for FEMAP.
I'm a stress engineer and I don't really know how much it costs.
I need an approximately price for each tool.
May be someone has an expirience???

What type of tools do you mean?

There are some tools sold on an "open" market and their price varies depending on what they do. I have not seen many of those.

Then there are the tools included in the Femap installation. There are quite a few available but they are included in Femap so there is no specific price for them.

thank you for your answer.
The macros, that I will make, are tools for automate routine tasks.
For example, last one is a tool that changes thickness and angle of ply based on special parameters for all layups. Another one is a macro that creates Excel file with MS based on analysis result for all layups and outputs.
I have done few very useful macros that save time a lot.
What do you think how much it costs?

What you describe seems to me fairly close to the "Custom Tools" included in Femap. I have done a few like those myself over the years.
The tools I have made are usually very specialized so I doubt that there would be a larger market for them.

Regarding price, I have no idea. The tools in Femap are included in the software. So there is no specific price.

But why do you ask? You have been offered a job to create them. The price has a lot to do with marketing and things like that. Have you seen any similar tools and what do they cost? Is there even a separate market for this type of software today?

I didn't find any information about price level in this field.
Mostly developers offer discuss price in each case separately, depends on details.
It is not an option for me, since I'm going to work on my current employer and I need the specific price.
