I am interested in steel price (US$/ton) trends for fabricated steel pipes for water applications. Appreciate if anyone can throw some light on this topic.
Thanks

Doesn't ENR magazine have data on construction materials published yearly? I don't think MEANS is that specific.

I guess the $/ton price varies by diameter. I am particularly interested in large diameter-84inch pressure pipes. Even some ball-park $/foot may help. ENR does not get to that kind of detail.

A lot will depend on whether you can use spiral wound pipe or whether the wall thickness dictates that longitudinal seam pipe has be used.

Transport costs and coating types will also have an influence.

I suggest that you call your nearest pipe mill that fabricates that size.

I would give these folks a call about your requirements for large diameter pipe. They are good people to work with.

They just happen to show 84" pipe on the home page below.

Call one of your local fabricators and inquire on price per for fabricated pipe. I know the price has gone up in the last month. Good luck
