I'm having problems in determining the quality of the mesh of a certain model. As can be seen from the attached file, the upper elements that should have the same quality, they do not have this feature.
Numerically they have a value of the Jacobian of 0.4, but the colors are different.
Ideas?

when you say those elements "should have this feature" do you mean ...
1) I've calc'd the jacobian myself, and it should be 0.4, or
2) the model goal is to have 0.4, and this simple model doesn't.

myself, I'd model the red trapezoids as three rectangular elements, and remesh the fins with three elements.

is this a school project ? ... the model and the question sound so. if so, please take your question to a more appropriate site.

Dear DavideITA,
Use CONTOUR MODEL DATA if you want to know the exact quality distorsion using "numbers" of your mesh in FEMAP. To learn more take a look to this post:

It is a model that I'm working for the thesis; It is the basis for a sandwich panel.
Anyway, this is the low density mesh, I also molded with higher density mesh to show how varied the results (the modal shapes).
Thank you for the advice, always precious.
