What are the options for making a small tank? I want to make sure I have considered all the options for this design.

Here are the details:
500ml
2psi internal pressure
needs to be water tight
contents will be liquid cleaners (originally sold in PD jugs)
5000 parts a year

The processes I know of are:
rotomolding
blow molding
injection molding as two halves and welding together

What other options are there? Even something obscure or unusual would be fine.

TIA

If you're talking plastic, you've pretty well covered them. If this is going to be a production run, even a short one, molding it would seem to be the only practical solution. Depending on the complexity of the shape, I would think blow molding would be where I would start.

For small annual quantities like this, it's easier to get molders to play ball if you pay for tooling up front, and quote by batch (setup plus pieces) rather than projected annual quantity.

Chemical resistant plastics, PE and PP, are hard to bond to making modification of existing products difficult. With production as high as 5000 units per year I would think a proprietary solution would certainly be most economical.

A 500 ml PET soda bottle fits the requirements, particularly the pressure requirement. You can't get any cheaper than that. Just do not try making these yourself.
