Hello;

I need some help. I am modelling a simple structure (in batch mode), loaded in 2 load steps, and I would like to produce a *.dat file with the reaction at the supports. I can do this for a single substep but I need to produce a file with the a reaction value result for each one of the n subtep.

The output should be something like this:

LOAD STEP= 2

SUBSTEP FX FY FZ
1
2
(...)
n

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards,

Tiago Ferreira

In alternative, a parameter with this data through which I can plot a Force-Displacement curve will be very useful. Any suggestion of how can I do that?

Thank-you

just did a quick search...

maybe VM201 or VM211 in the Mechanical APDL Verification Manual can help you.
