Hi,
I have a question about choosing proper explosion protection type for JB containing ONLY TERMINALS related to some Exd instrument (might be either solenoid valves or free-contact digital signals) which hope you may help.
If we need to install this junction box in Zone1 or Zone2 and considering the fact that this JB includes only terminals, do we have to use Exd junction box? or Exe also is acceptable?
Would be appreciated if you could refer to related section of IEC 60079 as well.
