Properties of a 20J8

I need to know the properties of a 20J8 joist. This is on a plan from '72. Anyone have an idea? Anyone know where I could see a catalog or manual regarding older shapes?

I think by 1972 J-series was outdated. H-series had taken over. But someone may still have been using J-series designations. I may be mistaken on this. If I am, someone please correct me.

My 50 year catalog shows a J series adopted November 1, 1972. Properties for a 20J8 are shown as : 20 inches deep, resisting moment 455,000"#, max end reaction 4,600#, approximate weight 11.9 plf. The J series adopted prior to that was May 30, 1961 and shows the same properties.

You are correct. I missed that one, and one dated May 10, 1971, in looking through my catalog.
