Hello people! Just joined.
I had a question. In my hydraulics exam(bachelors of eng), one of the question asked me to find the Q(actual) of a V-notch weir. Think I found it to be 1.29m^3/s. The Q(of the channel) was given as 1.5m^3/s. But at the end of the question, I was asked to find the "adequacy". Now we were never taught this, out of the syllabus tbh, so I improvised. I'd be grateful if someone could clarify what "adequacy" of a V-notch weir is to me.
Thank you.
