Rad NDT exposure time

Dear Forum,

Please help me to find an explicit formula to calculate the time for RT exposure (NDT of piping).
I want to build that formula in excel. There is a tool for example "RT toolkit" for android, however i want an explicit formula and table of parameters that go in that formula - whatever constants are applicable depending the source or film density... searched all over the web and still struggle.

In the Level III RT class then you learned how to calculate this.
Why is non-NDT professional worried about this at all?
