Hi Guys and Gals,

Any one know what was finaly selected and how well is it working for Mr Scipio? Thread # 407-118609 .

I need a Rag Layer pump selection for similar case - Heavy API 20 Crude Oil. Rag Layer in various Separators require recycle or blow down.

I am pretty familiar with this application. For rag layer pumping we usually use progressive cavity pump(PCP). PCP is the only(?) PD pump (positive displacement pump) which its capacity doesn't change because of decrease in viscosity. It makes PCP as the best option for rag layer pumping which has different percentage of water/oil and sand in it.
For low temperature application NBR is a good choice as stator. For high temperature applications Viton can be used as stator.
