Hello: ¿Is there any thread in this Forum, with experiences or exchanges related with Rammed Aggregate Piers (dynamical compaction)?
Thank you very much, regards Ginés

Any of the geotechnical forums will do, ther is not a specific forum for ground improvement.

Also stone columns or RAP is dynamic replacement not dynamic compaction

Para EireChch:
Muchas gracias!!! Tal vez no me expresé correctamente respecto de la forma de compactación de los materiales que se aportan para reemplazo, a los hoyos excavados. No me refería a la Compactación Dinámica de grandes pilones. Saludo cordial.

To address your question, I would recommend asking questions about Rammed Aggregate Piers in the Foundation Engineering forum.

I think EireChch's point was the term "dynamic compaction" is used to refer to something different than rammed aggregate piers.
Dynamic compaction is the process of using a heavy weight lifted by a crane and then dropped on the ground in order to compact it and improve the density and strength properties of the soil.

No worries, anyways, whats the question? Could as in Foundation engineering forum but you have already started this one ! :)
