We want to install a Fuel Gas compressor to boost pressure for a GT.The available suction pressure is 10-18 barg vary in different conditions, and want to boost it to 24barg. please advice the type of compressor. Screw/Reciprocating?

24 barg is above the capability of any air-derivative screw. There are a few process-derivative machines that can go there, but even with them you are at the top of the range.

I would use a recip with suction controller set at 10 barg and accept that I'm going to toss some energy when the supply is at the max pressure. It is a single stage application only doing 2.3 compression ratios so you probably don't even need an after cooler.

what is the MW capacity of the GT ? (in other words, what is the kg/h you want to boost.....)

Reciprocating compressors would be preferable. But even screw compressors can be multi staged by arranging in series to achieve the desired pressure rise. The only disadvantage is that screw compressors are not good for high flow rate applications.
