Hello. I am wondering if anyone can direct me to documents, online resources, or other sources of cost, energy consumption, service (i.e., steam) requirements, and greenhouse gas emission data for refining equipment (e.g., hydrocrackers, sulphuric acid alkylation units, etc.).
I work with a research group that models the Canadian economy in response to energy policies. We are trying to update our petroleum refining submodel which is currently based on early 1990s data.
I have found a few sources (i.e., US DOI 1998 Energy and Environmental Prfoile of the US Petroleum Refining Industry; European Commission's 2003 Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Reference Doc on Best Available Techniques...; Weirauch, 1999 Process Technologies' Energy Usage Rated (Oil and Gas Journal)) but have found little information the data disaggregated by technology - most data is by process (e.g., alkylation) and not the main types of units that perform the process.
Any tips or leads would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris
