I have a part holding fixture that contains a part. I want to render the fixture in solid and show the part in phantom. I tried rendering the components seperately, but the part still renders as solid. I'm trying to figure out how to render the part such that it appears only as it appears in modelspace in it's "wireframe" view. I tried giving it a glass material, but this doesn't enhance the edges of the part or show them as phantom lines. Is there any way that I can accomplish this task? I tried printscreen the seperate views and copy/pasted into paint, but this doesn't retain the scaling so I have to guess/stretch the views to fake them in. Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Havis

Dear hdaven,
1- Create a new layer and freeze it.
2- Make a copy of the part in the same place.
3- Change the copied part into new freezed layer.
4- Explode the shown part two times using EXPLODE command.
5- Now the exploded part is a set of lines (and maybe arcs and splines).
