Would you use ASCE-7 Table 12-2-1 Design Coeff and Factors for Seismic Force Resisting Systems to find R for an isolated perimeter masonry 8' H wall (barely a retaining wall with 2' of retained soil )? What value of R should it be?
On another note, what R have you guys used for equipment pad (genset)on vibration isolators?
I am hoping to get some legit answers from you guys! Thanks in advance...
