Is anyone familiar with RF vibration transmitters which allow vibration data collected by an accelerometer in a remote location to be tranmitted to a receiver in another location?

Somewhat. I haven't used them but I know people who do. What do you want to know?

A good trick is to use a wireless network if you have a large system. Cheers

Nothing magical about vib. transmitters and RF. Can transmit via Modbus, Ethernet and or make web enabled. Give me a shout at dgallagher@reliabilitydirect.com to discuss your application. Dave G.

I was interested in finding out if anyone knows of a manufacturer of low-cost radio transmitted accelerometers which send a signal to a receiver.

The distance I want to tranmit is anywhere from 10 to 100 ft.

This will enable us to collect vibration readings on rotating equipment without putting people in danger.

We use CSI vibration analysis equipment to collect our data.
