What is the reason for drop in rolling resistance coefficient with increasing tir temperature?

For a rise in temperature from 30 deg. C to 70 deg. C the rolling resistance decreased by 20-25%

The way I look at this is that the internal friction is reduced by the higher temperatures. The higher temperature "lubricates" the long chain hydrocarbons and allows them to flex more easily.

Instead of this presentation, plot the reciprocal of these two functions vs. each other with markers at each mileage increment. Then the relationship is more easily cogitated.
