I need to make a rubber part molded with fabric. The end product is similar to the attached picture.

The idea to make this rubber part molded with fabric is once the mold is opened, someone place a fabric ring into the mold then close the mold and the rubber raw material shot into the mold and start cooking.

I have asked many rubber molding companies, one said they do not know how to mold this rubber with fabric. Because when the rubber raw material shot into the mold, the fabric will be off the place due to 200ton pressure. And I know this is possible to mold with fabric cuz one company told me they have the technique to do this.

My question is, what is the trick here? How can the fabric keeps still there while the raw material shot in? thank you

There are lots of hoses and airbags that are molded with fabric reinforcements so you just need to find the right suppliers.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.

The example part appears to be a hand layup, made sort of like a tire, where rubber sheet/strip and fabric are wrapped around a mandrel, and then the mandrel is expanded into a female mold for vulcanizing.

I cannot imagine a way in which transfer or injection molding would work without some fancy mechanism for holding the fabric in place while the rubber flows.
