We are looking at a project that involves welding of super alloy 304H. I am having issues finding any information on the the material at all much less what to weld it with. 2015 ASME Sec. IX list a UNS # S30432 that has the appropriate chemical composition of 18Cr 9Ni 3Cu Cb N (at least that is what I'm finding online, and in other post on this site). Does anyone have any information on welding this material?

Thanks,

I am looking for specifics on the welding end of this material. I have found that some are using Inco 617 to weld it, and others are using what appears to be 304H Cu, and I have also found a MT304H that seems to be a match to the base material. I am looking for any pro's or con's for any of these.

The data I have seen is matching consumable regarding for use in B&PV code applications.
